It was 40 years ago when Ken Towery graduated from the University of Kentucky and became one of the youngest store supervisors for the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and eager to get into business for himself. In 1971 he left to open up his own store in Louisville. Now Ken Towery's stores have grown to 16 locations in Kentucky and Southern Indiana selling all major brands.

Son Kris Towery is following his father's footsteps. While attending the University of Kentucky Kris worked in the warehouse and in sales. Since graduating in 1999, Kris is using his eleven years experience to help Dad take Ken Towery's AutoCare SuperCenters into the future.

A lot of things have changed since 1971 when Ken opened that first store in Louisville, but one thing remains the same, honest value and old fashioned customer service.
